What do you enjoy most about your job?
What keeps things exciting for me is that no two days are ever the same. Our industry is constantly evolving, which means there’s always something new to tackle or improve. It’s fast-paced, dynamic, and never routine—and that’s exactly how I like it.
🛤️ Personal & Professional Journey
How did you get started in your career, and what brought you to TAKKION?
Engineering was always a passion of mine. While in college, one of my professors recommended TAKKION—back then known as RENEW—as a potential internship. I applied, got the internship, and returned for a second summer. That experience made a lasting impact, and I’ve been with TAKKION ever since.
Internship: Summer 2018 & 2019
Started Full-Time: May 2020
How has your role evolved since you started?
I began full-time as a shop technician for about nine months before transitioning into Quality Control. First as a QC Specialist, then stepping into the role of QC Manager for our Remanufacturing shop. After a little over two years in that position, I moved into my current role as Senior Manager of Engineering and Reman QC.

What do you love most about working with your team?
The people. I’m lucky to work alongside a group of hard-working, dedicated individuals who genuinely care about the quality of their work. They show up every day ready to contribute and support each other however they can—and that kind of work ethic and camaraderie is priceless.

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
During college at South Dakota State, I was a cheerleader—all while pursuing my Mechanical Engineering degree!

What are you most excited about in your current role or upcoming projects?
I’m really looking forward to seeing the new platforms come through our shop and out in the field. It’s exciting to identify areas where we can improve and refine these systems, ultimately delivering more reliable solutions to our customers.
