What happens when management teams from 25 locations, overseeing more than 1,700 acres of outdoor space and over 7 million square feet of indoor storage, come together in one place?
You get collaboration, alignment, and an overwhelming sense of gratitude grounded in a shared commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
The Fixed Site Logistics Manager Meeting, held January 6 through January 8, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas, was more than a meeting. It was a celebration of the people, processes, and proactive thinking that drive results across our network every day.
Kicking Things Off in Wichita
The meeting began Tuesday evening with arrivals, a welcome reception, and a team dinner at 6S Steakhouse. From the first handshake to the final conversation, leaders connected in person and strengthened relationships essential to operating safely and efficiently.
Collaboration Focused on Safety and Efficiency
Wednesday centered on collaboration and continuous improvement. Site presentations highlighted progress in safety standards, operational efficiency, and best practices that can be applied across yards and warehouses. Leaders also emphasized proactive customer service, focusing on preparation, risk awareness, and forward-thinking solutions that drive reliability and trust.
One message remained clear throughout the day. Efficiency begins with safety, and customer trust is earned through preparation and accountability.
Leadership Perspective
Curtis Williams, Senior Director of Fixed Site Logistics, reinforced the importance of alignment, teamwork, and proactive leadership.
“When we lead with safety and execute with operational discipline, performance follows. These meetings enable us to share best practices, anticipate challenges, and continuously elevate the experience we deliver to our customers. None of this is possible without the exceptional teams in our yards and warehouses, whose commitment and professionalism power our success every day.”
