TAKKION’s Safety and Technical Trainers recently came together for an Instructor Update — a multi-day event designed to refine skills, align standards, and ensure every instructor across our business units continues to deliver industry-leading training.
Key Objectives and Highlights
- GWO Updates: Instructors received updates regarding the latest GWO BST and BTT course changes, including substantial shifts in data collection and documentation requirements. These changes ensure TAKKION remains fully aligned with global safety standards while continuing to exceed industry expectations.
- Skill Refresh: TAKKION empowers its teams through a mindset of continuous learning and progress. This year’s sessions emphasized real-world application and instructional excellence — giving our trainers the tools and confidence to bring these updates directly to the field.
Instructor “Rodeo”: Training in Action
A highlight of the event was our Instructor Rodeo — a hands-on, high-intensity training experience designed to replicate the challenges our technicians face in the field.
This unique session gave instructors the chance to:
- Collaborate across Training Centers to share rescue techniques and insights
- Build capacity among new trainers
- Hone advanced rescue and instruction skills in a realistic, work recue environment
