On March 4–5, 2026, TAKKION brought together blade leaders from across the country for the 2026 Blade Leadership Summit, held at the Denver Training Center in Broomfield, Colorado. The two-day event welcomed 33 attendees, including key leaders and field personnel, along with several visiting industry and company experts.
The summit provided a focused opportunity to align on safety, operational priorities, technical excellence, and the future direction of TAKKION’s Blade Department.
Setting the Tone: Purpose, Safety, and Strategy
The event opened with remarks from leadership, establishing clear objectives and expectations for the summit. Attendees participated in an engaging icebreaker designed to reconnect individuals with their purpose—why they do what they do and what drives them to continue building their careers at TAKKION.
Safety remained a central theme throughout the summit. A comprehensive presentation covered critical topics such as documentation practices, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRAs), and incident reporting protocols. The session also introduced enhanced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) support for blade operations, highlighting TAKKION’s continued focus on protecting its workforce.
Leadership also shared a detailed review of the Blade Department’s performance in 2025 and outlined strategic priorities for 2026, ensuring all attendees had a clear understanding of current momentum and future goals.
Driving Technical Excellence and Innovation
A key focus of the summit was advancing technical capabilities and improving field execution. Engineering leaders facilitated in-depth discussions around reporting practices, process improvements, and evolving technical standards.
One of the most impactful sessions centered on TAKKION’s new blade extraction policy and confined space procedures. Attendees not only reviewed updated safety protocols but also participated in hands-on training in the Climb Lab, practicing emergency extraction techniques using specialized equipment.
These practical exercises emphasized the importance of preparedness and ensured that teams are equipped to respond effectively in high-risk scenarios.

Leadership Alignment and Operational Updates
Day two of the summit emphasized leadership alignment and operational transparency. Senior leaders addressed the group, followed by updates on training initiatives, departmental branding discussions, and key operational developments.
Operations leadership shared important announcements, including updates on management roles and staffing opportunities, while also addressing current challenges and priorities in the field.
Fleet and warehousing teams contributed insights into equipment management, vehicle performance metrics, and opportunities to improve material supply and logistics—critical components of efficient field operations.
Strengthening Reporting and Accountability
To highlight the importance of accurate and timely reporting, attendees participated in a hands-on technical reporting exercise. Teams reviewed complex repair reports, identified discrepancies, and discussed how improved data quality directly impacts operational success.
This collaborative session reflected TAKKION’s commitment to continuous improvement and accountability across all levels of the organization.
Recognizing Excellence and Building Culture
The summit concluded with a recognition ceremony and raffle, celebrating safety excellence and rewarding engagement throughout the event. Attendees were recognized for their contributions, supporting TAKKION’s culture of appreciation and high performance.
The event wrapped up with an open discussion on lessons learned and opportunities for future improvement, ensuring that feedback from the field continues to shape TAKKION’s approach.
