This month we are proud to highlight Jerimiah Wankowski, a Trainer II whose deep experience, calm leadership, and passion for developing others make him an invaluable part of the TAKKION training team.
A Look Into His Role 🧗♂️🚑
Jerimiah specializes in Advanced Rescue and First Aid. Each day he trains students with a wide range of experience levels, guiding them through essential rescue skills such as patient packaging and manual haul systems. He also teaches more complex rescue situations that require multiple devices and coordinated teamwork.
Recently, Jerimiah has focused on expanding our rescue refresher program by creating realistic scenarios based on actual field events. His approach includes assigning teams that mirror real maintenance crews and incorporating training props like electrical boxes and communication radios to simulate field conditions.
Path Into the Renewable Industry 🌬️
After fifteen years as a rescue supervisor in the oil industry, Jerimiah was ready for a change. A conversation with Caleb Hopson, whom he met through a friend, opened the door to exploring work in the wind industry, and shortly after submitting his resume, he was hired.
Why He Chose to Teach 🎓
Teaching began as a job assignment but quickly became a passion. Since joining TAKKION, Jerimiah has enjoyed developing impactful training programs and helping fellow instructors grow.
