Our team recently gathered in Denver for an exciting and productive few days focused on aligning our commercial efforts for 2025, providing key sales training, and fostering collaboration across business units. Alongside this important work, we enjoyed some fun team-building activities and valuable time together.
Event Highlights:
Day 1: Business Development Initiatives
Each Business Development Manager presented their 2025 initiatives, outlining specific activities aimed at growing their business units. The sessions were interactive, with team members asking questions and offering suggestions to foster deeper collaboration across teams. This provided an opportunity to learn more about each business unit within TAKKION.

Day 2: Financial Overview & Sales Training
The morning started with a financial overview from TAKKION’s Chief Financial Officer, Dave Martino, who outlined the vision for 2025 and explained how the BD team would play a key role in the company’s success. The remainder of the morning was focused on sales training led by Jason Choi, TAKKION’s Chief Commercial Officer. The team gained valuable insights into new methods for clearly defining roles and responsibilities within projects, ensuring that teams stay on track and accountable. Additionally, there were opportunities for self-reflection on our leadership styles and how we can improve as leaders.
In the evening, attendees teamed up with Human Resources for a gourmet experience at the Denver Training Center (DTC), where a local chef guided the team in making a variety of guacamoles, followed by a fun competition.
Day 3: CRM Training
Geeta Chakrabort, TAKKION’s Sales Operations Analyst, and Ellyce Brownell, TAKKION Estimator, led an informative Customer Relationship Management (CRM) training session that covered CRM functionality and quality, along with its integration with various internal dashboards. Teams also explored potential dashboard solutions to help visualize their goals.
The week was energizing and productive, filled with valuable insights, team bonding, and plenty of fun. We left Denver excited to put the plans and ideas discussed into action for 2025!
